Monza's stadium is going back to its Brianteo name. From July 1st, 2026, Monza's stadium will once again be called Brianteo, after being renamed U-Power Stadium on September 4, 2020.

What happened?

The return to the historic name comes at a particularly significant moment for the Brianzolo facility, which was recently awarded by Lega Serie B as the best stadium in Serie BKT 2025/26.

Monza, currently third in Serie B with 76 points and a recent form of DLWWW, saw its stadium top the rankings with 63.87 points, ahead of Reggiana and Palermo.

Why is it important for Monza?

The recognition is awarded based on evaluations made during the season by representatives of the visiting teams, the Lega Serie B delegate, the competent areas of Lega Serie B, the television production referents, and the agronomist in charge of evaluating the playing field.

Monza finished the season with 61 goals scored and 32 conceded, with a goal difference of +29.

What comes next?

The return to the Brianteo name comes a year after the recognition obtained in the previous season, when the U-Power Stadium's playing field was awarded as the best in Serie A.

Monza is currently 6 points behind leaders Venezia, after losing 0-2 to Catanzaro on May 29, 2026.
